Pothole Problem Solved

This pothole has been around on Palmerston Square for a while. Recently someone anonymously filled it in with earth and planted flowers. Neighbourliness and creativity abound.

  2. Hm, Ottawa has a LOT of potholes – I think I shall start a movement to do this here. A truly lovely idea…

    1. It should go national. Roads are over-rated and flowers under-rated.

    lol, what would be a truly amusing protest would be to plant Pot plants in all the pot holes. OK, maybe keep it legal and plant Hemp instead. Would certainly draw attention to them!

  4. Our roads are awful at the moment, after another freezing winter. I love the idea of urban gardening in them! It could be a sort of overground underground movement. 🙂

    1. Oh yes, the overground underground! Secretly plotting to transport soil and plants by night. Wheelbarrows moving stealthily in the darkness.
