That’s where I’m at today. It’s hard to take a break in the afternoon to walk, though it’s good to get out of the house. This novel has always had a lot of energy, even through all the years, but now there is so much momentum it’s hard to pull away. I made falaffel sandwiches for supper, using President’s Choice falaffel balls, with tahini sauce (home made), humus (not), cauliflower and salad. I’ll be watching So You Think You Can Dance with my kids tonight. Tomorrow, back to the manuscript.

Lilian is the author of Web of Angels, a novel about a mom with DID (multiple personalities). She's also the author of the historical novels, The River Midnight and The Singing Fire, about secrets, friendship and motherhood in 19th century Poland and London.

  1. Out of how many pages, Lilian? Is the end in sight or are you halfway there? Good luck with the editing – it sounds like you are in a perfect place for that part of the process. 🙂

    1. About 370–this is in manuscript. I expect in print it will be something like 250. The end is definitely in sight. I need to have it done by the end of June. Exciting and scary!
