  1. Thanks so much for sharing these. I’ve only read Unless and Life of Pi, so will look out for some of the others.

    Litlove, you must read Unless – her last and one of her best novels.

  2. I agree with Jean about Unless. It’s a gem. I enjoyed The Birth House (especially because of the location). The Book of Negroes deserves all the attention it’s got and more. I haven’t read that one by Boyden but did read Through Black Spruce. The Canadian sections were terrific, the NYC parts a bit over the top for me, but maybe not for everyone.
